Agricultural Equipment Sales Person

Salesperson needed for inside and outside sales combination for local John Deere Dealer.  Must have experience with farm related equipment, especially hay equipment and utility tractors.  Does not require that you have had sales experience, but would prefer you have experience around farm and farm equipment. 

 

Essential Duties:

 1.  Represents the company for the sale of machinery to customers

 2.  Must keep current on product knowledge, features and benefits.

 3.  Maintain, as directed by the Sales Manager, current and complete 

  sales information for all customers.

 4.  Maintain company vehicle and other equipment as assigned.

 5.  With assistance as assigned, conduct field demonstrations.

 6.  Maintain in good, usable and current condition, all electronic and

  paper, price lists, manuals, and other documents given to

  individual by the company, and accurately complete all documents

  related to the sales transactions.

 7.  Have a good knowledge of, or able to learn, used equipment

  values to properly trade for equipment.

 8.  Work in conjunction with Sales Manager, responsible for follow-up

  and expiditing of Wholegoods orders.
