About the Company

Our client, a world class producer and marketer of high-quality fresh fruit, fresh vegetables is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager for it facility located in the Yuma, AZ area.



About the Opportunity 

The Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for providing quality support and oversight for the value added plant operations.
-Develop and enforce plant quality standards; supervise salaried and hourly QA employees
-Act as a liaison with federal and state agencies to ensure plant compliance with regulatory issues
-Act as a liaison for customer and third party audits
-Ensure Kosher compliance
-Monitor, enforce and further develop plant HACCP program
-Provide HACCP, Quality and consumer complaint reports to management
-Oversee plant quality/GMP training
-Evaluate raw material vendor/supplier food safety programs.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology or related field.
-3-5 years in Quality Management, preferably food manufacturing
