Sales and Marketing Coordinator

JOB SUMMARY:

Key position for Germain?s Technology Group North America, Inc.  Sales and Marketing of Germain?s products to selected Horticultural clients. Close involvement with the Horticultural Industry supply chain and in the designated key sales regions.  Bi-lingual (Spanish) would be an advantage.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sales & MarketingA GTG Team playerMeeting/phoning/e-mailing selected Horticultural clients as per requested.Maintain regular and strategic contact with selected clients as per their needs.Maintain regular strategic contact with market players at Seed, Dealer and Grower levels in the designated key sales regions. Compile timely sales & marketing reports to meet GTG-NA Period Report deadlines.Negotiations with selected Horticultural clients in consultation and with direction from Horticultural Sales & Marketing ManagerMarket Intelligence gathering, analysis and regular sales tracking working to set Fiscal Hort budgets.Advise and process any claims or credit documentation to Sales & Marketing Manager.Prospecting of clients/new leads.Manage client requested trials and oversee special projects when requested for product development.Monitor QC germinations via reports to ensure anomalies are addressed internally and customers are informed on a timely basis where necessary.Attend selected Conferences & Exhibits when/if required.Attend at Corporate Hospitality functions when/if required.Check on production scheduling to ensure they are meeting client deadlinesTravel will be required on a regular basis.Consult with Production when required.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Follow oral/written instructions.  Professional communication skills Detail oriented.Strong computer knowledge required in Excel and WordWorking knowledge in PowerPoint.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Able to sit for extended periods.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:Requires a High School diploma or its equivalent.3 ? 4 years of experience in SalesValid Drivers License
