PMO Support Analyst

Key Role: Provide support to the Marine Corps Systems Command program office. Manage program office activities in support of accomplishing milestone activities for the development of a system. Apply analytical skills to the preparation of position papers and decision memoranda and present developed recommendations to decision makers. Apply military experience and judgment to provide input into draft concepts of employment, mission profiles, gap analysis, and DOTMLPF analysis. Provide input to analysis of alternatives planning and execution. Coordinate and represent the program office at IPTs and working groups. Coordinate with Marine Combat Development Command Staff officers developing capabilities requirements. Coordinate with MCOTEA in the development of operational test plans.



Basic Qualifications:


-4 years of experience with the military, preferably the Marine Corps


-BA or BS degree


-Knowledge of the DoD JCIDS process and CJCSM/CJCSI 3170.01-series


-Knowledge of the Marine Corps’ Expeditionary Force Development Center and processes


-Knowledge of the Marine Corps’s Material Capabilities Officer handbook


 


Additional Qualifications: 
-Graduate of Expeditionary Warfare School, Amphibious Warfare School, or equivalent Officer Advanced Course preferred


-Experience with OIF/OEF preferred


-Experience with company command or battalion or higher staff preferred


-Ability to work well in individual and team environments requiring initiative
-BA or BS degree in a related field


-Possession of excellent oral presentation skills


-Possession of excellent written communications skills
