JOB TITLE: Sales Representative

POSITION SCOPE

This position is responsible for providing superior customer satisfaction in an effort to achieve market objectives. The position is directly responsible for assisting new and existing customers with the purchase of home improvement products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESResponding to all sales appointments in service region Training in all sales materials and products Presenting product and service offerings to customers Achieve or surpass individual sales targets/goals Cross-sell across Empire Today?s product lines Provide answers to customer inquiries concerning products and pricing Increase unit sales and dollars by emphasizing company sales practices Maximize the potential for conversion of leads to sales Ensure accurate reporting and accounting of Sales leads assigned through proper use of daily recaps and ongoing reporting Maintain personal sales metrics at or above company standards Attend weekly motivational sales and training meetings.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIESTwo to three years sales experience required (in-home sales preferred) Experience in the home building industry a definite plus Must possess a high degree of self-motivation, and well developed planning, organization and time management skills Have excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills, and the ability to present both product and service capabilities of the company in response to the unique needs of each customer. Must be flexible to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays as required

 

Education:  Some college preferred.

 

Computer Knowledge Requirements: MS Word, Excel and Outlook
