Territory Sales Manager, NOVA, Alexandria, Arlington, Washington DC, Reston

Penn Veterinary Supply, a Regional Veterinary Distributor, is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to service Northern Virginia including Leesburg, Fairfax, and Springfield. This person could live in the Arlington, Alexandria, Washington DC, and Reston, VA area and successfully service this territory.

It is preferred that applicants have a college degree and previous sales experience (preferably in Animal Health or a related field).  Veterinary market related experience is a plus.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills, good organizational abilities, be able to work independently, have a strong work ethic, and have exceptional relationship building/communication skills.

The position also requires the ability to learn and retain technical product related information and to be able to communicate this knowledge to Veterinarians, Technicians and Purchasing Agents for resultant sales.

 

*Maintain, develop and grow accounts in Territory.

*Accomplish assigned budgets and goals.

*Ability to sell Veterinary Products including: biologicals, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, surgical supplies, instruments and equipment to licensed Small and Large Animal Veterinary Practices.

*Required ongoing study of company product lines and equipment.

*Develop relationships with Manufacturer Representative colleagues.

*Provide world class customer service.

*Ability to create and organize records for each of the 120-140 accounts

*Work closely with Inside Sales Representatives and other internal departments.

*Must attend company sponsored meetings as requested.

*Must attend trade shows and vendor/regional meetings as requested.

Salary:

Starting salary range is $45,000.  depending on experience.  In addition, compensation includes:  commission, bonus and a car allowance.  We also offer medical, dental, life, disability insurance, vacation and a 401K.
